"Casa Gogol also announced the label’s first two signees. First up will be a debut EP by NYC punk girl duo Puzzled Panther, due out in 2024. The band is fleshed out with Hütz and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Brian Chase. Their next single, “Smoke & Mirrors We Broke,” is out this Friday. Singer-songwriter Grace Begere will also release new music on the imprint as well.

“As different as Puzzled Panther and Grace Bergere are, they have the right kind of newness and right kind of oldness about them,” Hütz said in a release about his first two signees. “They arrived into this world as poets with a singular vision and superb knack for melodism. To me they are the new New York, which has a lot more in common with that magical old New York we know, and none of that bullshit in the middle.”- Eugene Hutz  "
